This week, I wanted to showcase a cool art exhibit that sends an amazing message. So, if you’re in the Dallas area, pay close attention.

You don’t want to miss out on this awe inspiring exhibit. This exhibit is called #IfThenSheCan -The Exhibit.

This exhibit showcases 3D printed statues, more than 120 of them! The statues depict contemporary female STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) professionals and role models.

It celebrates women from industries such as sports, business, academia and even entertainment. You can find out more at If Then Exhibit.

Will Smith said, “greatness is not this wonderful, esoteric, elusive, God-like feature that only the special among us will ever taste, it’s something that truly exists in all of us.”

This art exhibit encapsulates those words perfectly.

This is just one of these amazing statues. This is Kimberly Sass, an architect, professional hockey player and artist!

If anyone deserves the honor of being in this display, it’s Kimberly. You can check out some of Kimberly’s art in her Instagram page.

A person who isn’t one of these sculptures but could be is Sunny Hostin. Sunny is a host on The View but that is not what makes her worthy of this art display.

She recently launched her own Inclusive Production Company with the soul focus being social justice. Definitely a worthy person of being a part of such an impactful piece of art.

Social justice is something we should all focus on and our appreciation and support goes out to Sunny and her vision for a better world!

This week is Nurses week. Being a nurse during a pandemic is stressful and difficult.

I don’t know about you, but I know some pretty amazing nurses who are also very deserving of being art on display for the world to appreciate. Since we can’t add all of the worthy women to this exhibit, what we can do is take the time to support and appreciate all of the amazing, dedicated women in our lives.

What I found most intriguing about this art exhibit is how needed it is. Did you know that a research study done in 2016 found that in the ten largest US cities there were fewer than six statues of real women!

How is that even possible?

This exhibit is something you should definitely go and see in person.

Once you do, we’d love to hear how it felt, standing among so many amazing, strong women.

Want to know what you would look like as part of this exhibit? Lucky for you, Instagram has a filter showing you as one of these amazing statues.

As Bill Gates said, “as we look ahead into the next century, leaders will be those who empower others.” That is exactly the type of women showcased in this great exhibit.
