What is “the perfect moment”? Who gets to define that?
I think we can all agree that the perfect moment is different for each of us.
Well, Cultural Center of Cape Cod wants your art depicting the perfect moment.
This call for art is open to ALL fine art mediums (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except video.
I know we have more than a few artists who fit that bill!
According to the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, “A perfect moment is a particularly subjective thing. Occasionally, we see something or experience something emotional, exciting, or thrilling that feels ‘just so’. It can be something we all relate to, yet we would all probably describe it differently. It’s simultaneously personal and universal. We want you to show us your perfect moment, and how you have interpreted that moment from within, into an artwork that can speak to many.”
Artists can submit a maximum of 20 images in JPEG or JPG format using Café guidelines. The image size must be 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side.
Maximum file size is 5 mb. It costs $20 for one submission and $5 for every subsequent piece submitted.
Entry deadline is November 19.
Prizes are as follows: First place – $500.00, second place – $200.00, and third place – $100.00.
All sales inquiries will be directed directly to the artist.

One could argue that it depicts a perfect moment between two people in love as well as a perfect moment between humanity and Mother Nature.
Regardless of how you see it, this is a beautifully created piece.
There are a few other artists who have amazing pieces that would be great for this exhibition.
Don’t limit yourself when it comes to submissions for this.
Maybe your perfect moment is the way communities come together after an earthquake, putting the pieces back together in unity.
Another perfect moment is looking through your lens at the full moon, especially on nights when there is a meteor shower.
